Greg Brand - aka “Rocky

Football has been a big part of my life, having played for Wee Waa Football Club in N.S.W., then 4 years at Sturt Football Club in S.A., and finishing my playing career at Encounter Bay Football Club. 

I met my wife, Sue, who is also born and bred in Victor Harbor and we bought a dairy farm in Back Valley, where we raised 3 children. 

We sold the farm in 2008 and moved to Encounter Bay - enjoying the relaxed lifestyle here on the South Coast. I am currently employed in the construction and maintenance sector of the local council, and I spend my leisure time playing lawn bowls.

I thoroughly enjoy my role at Happy FM, being a part of the Saturday morning sports team. It allows me to keep in touch with all forms of sport and remain connected with the local community.
